DBSL Series

The Lorlin DBSL is a mains-rated high-security keylock switch distinguished by its dimpled 7-disc locking mechanism and robust double-pole bracketed construction, making it an ideal solution for controlled power switching in industrial and commercial equipment. Manufactured in the UK, the DBSL is designed for a standard 19mm panel cut-out and features a 2-position on/off action with 90° indexing, providing secure and intuitive operation for panels where authorised switching is essential. The series combines a zinc alloy lock housing with a stainless steel bezel and a durable polyamide switch housing, delivering both mechanical strength and a professional finish for modern equipment panels. Engineered for reliable performance in demanding environments, the DBSL is available with either common keyed or 250 differ key options and is supplied with two keys per switch. The dimpled key can be inserted or removed either way up for easier everyday use, while key withdrawal is restricted to the off position to support safer controlled access. Designed as a front panel mount module that fits from behind, the switch features solder terminals, supports panel thicknesses up to 3mm with the standard drive shaft, and is also available in PCB and longer-shaft versions for greater installation flexibility. Built to high technical standards, the DBSL uses silver tin switch contacts with silver-plated brass contact material and features a switch module ENEC approved to EN61058-1. With a 4/80A AC rating, an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C and mechanical life in excess of 15,000 cycles, it provides dependable long-term performance in security, access control and general equipment switching applications.
