Engineered for extra-low voltage applications such as battery charging, the GT Contact 2-pin magnetic connector range supports a rated current of 5A at 30V AC/DC. A standout feature is the ability to rotate a full 360 degrees without losing electrical connection, providing excellent flexibility for wearable, portable, and dynamic equipment. Available in panel-mount configurations with a short 4 mm flange depth, these connectors offer solder or pre-wired terminations and are complemented by straight or 90-degree cable connectors. Cable assemblies can be customised to virtually any length with blunt cut, USB plug, or other terminations of your choice. The cable-mount connector is designed to fit cut-outs of 20.75 mm round or 19.2 mm x 20.75 mm D-cut, preventing unwanted rotation and ensuring stability. An optional rubber cap provides additional environmental protection. Panel-mount units are rear potted to maintain an IP67 seal against dust and water. While the panel-mount and cable connectors are individually IP67 rated, the magnetic connection itself is not waterproof due to its open design.
