Inconnect utilise their over moulding capability to introduce new service

June 2009  -  For many years Inconnect have developed their capability to design and manufacture connector solutions that are over moulded onto cables. Overmoulding is the process of injection moulding plastic in and around another component to fully or partially encapsulate it. Inconnect currently provides its customers with a wide range of overmoulding options including using overmoulding to form cable grommets, provide rugged and tamperproof replacements to connector back shells and cover ferrites applied to the cable exterior.

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer PCB Cable Assemblies over moulded into or part of a cable form or dongle, which offer a reliable, secure, aesthetically pleasing, and cost effective solution. We are able to provide a design service that can incorporate logos and any other features that may be required, which will complement the product that they are to be used in. In addition we can match the colours of the PCB cable assembly with those of the product. 

This service can be offered using the following types of connectors.

·                    Board-to-Board, 0.5mm – 0.8mm – 1.27mm – 2.00mm – 2.54mm, straight, right angled and SMT.
